Things that I like to do

Hello! How are you?, well today I´m going to talk you about things that I love to do.
Firstly I want to say that i love reading, and yesterday I finished a book called "Las vírgenes del paraíso" from Barbara Wood, its a really good book and it talks about the life from a
Egyptian woman and the mistreatment that she suffered in that country. The reason that I like this book is because it happens in the real life, women are treated like a dog, they have to serve men, and in addition to this they are discriminated with no rights. For example in the book the author talks about a woman that were killed from her husband because she did not well the food. And if you think a little bit about it, it happens, maybe not for that reason but there are lot of homicide and nobody do something for change the mind of that guy or arrest him.
I would recommend you to read it, its a good book and its a good form to know a little bit more about other cultures.
The other think that I like to do is watching alternative movies like "cinema art", the most of them have really good topics, but there are a lot of people that don´t like them because they don´t understand them, maybe that kind of movies are only for people that like interpret and look for and answer.

Time to say goodbye

Hello guys! How are you?, You know what? This is the last time that I´m going to write in this blog, and the reason is that this course finished today (but just this part).
I think that this course was really good, because of the practice. I have to say that i´m not so good writting. It is hard to learn how to write things in another language, because you have no idea how you can spelled a word.
The advantage of blogging is that you can express your opinion about a topic and also practice your english, maybe its a little bit hard to talk about some topics, for example, if you don´t have a favourite picture, you can not talk about it. This course its also good to find the way to write good.
Another advantage is that you can get to know you classmates, because everyone write a little bit of them every time that they write.
Maybe the disadvantage of this course is that there are people that don´t know how to write in English and so they get bad marks.
Well, the thing is that English is really important, because if you know this language, you can travel to a lot of countries and have no problems with communication. English is like a universal language. And that is one of the reasons that I love English.
In addition to this, I want to say that this course was really good, and I hope that the next one will be the same or better.
Finally, I wanted to say that it was really funny to know a little bit about you, and also write about me.

babies, stuuess or theatre?

Hello guys! How are you?, I hope that right. Today i´m going to talk you about my ideal job.

Since 2 years, I wanted to be stuuess, because I love languages and also traveling.

Its really funny, because I was sure that the day that I left the school, I would never see a teacher again in my life. I wanted to know five languages: French, German, Portuguese, English, Italian. I really have dreamt with that, to meet a lot of people, and get to know another country, with their culture, their eating habits, and the most important thing that i wanted to do is taking pictures.

So, what was the problem?, to be a stuuess, you have to be really tall, like 1.70 m, have a good appearance and also be thin. And I think that these characteristics are very different for me.

But I don´t really care, 3 or 4 cm more or less are not important for being a good person, and if you are fat or thin, its only a discrimination.

In addition to this, people that works in this profession can only work until the age of 35 years. The boss tell you "hey, you are to old to work in this profession", and thats it.

And the age that you can begin to work is with 24 years, and I thought, what i´m going to do?.

I also wanted to be an actress, because I love watching movies, but then I discover that there are a lot of actresses that don´t like their jobs, and that they feel like they have two faces.

If you watch on TV the lifes that they have, with a lot of money, its really crazy. But the most of them have depression, or they do drugs.

Finally, I decided to be a midwife, and the reason is that a love babys and to help people.

The Lovely Tree!

Hello guys!!! how are?, a stressing week right?, Well today I want to introduce me with a phrase (created by me) "The nature is one that connect us with ourselves". The most important thing for me is my family and also the beautiful nature that creates so wonderful things like a sky (like in the picture). One thing, I love the trees and this is one of the reasons that I love the south of Chile, because there are a lot of forests that look like rainforests, like in the jungle.
Well, I choose this picture because it reminds me at my home, with all the flowers, trees, and clean air and water. I took this picture by myself, because since two years ago, one of my favourite hobbies was taking pictures.
But it is very difficult to choose one of thousand pictures, I was between this picture and another that shows a cigarette, the reason of this picture is that in that year I gave up smoking. But I have to accept that I miss a lot my family and also the green color, because of the nature.
So I hope that you like to know every time a little bit more about me!

OMG! Do you know something about my course?

Hello to everyone? How are you?, i hope that fine!, well firstly i wanted to say that i´m crazy for a long weekend, ajajaja.
Today its the time to talk you about my education, little things about my course. At first you must have vocation, because in my case (midwife), you have to love your course. There are a lot of people that get in a course and really don´t know about it.
Secondly, in my course people teach you to be a good professional of health and to be a person that supports and helps women and their child in every case and also during the pregnancy.
In my case, I must teach women and their partners to have a healty sexual life, and also help them to take care about their babies. In addition to this I help girls giving them information about birth control methods and also i provide them information about having sex without protection.
Thirldy, we can give talks in schools and universities about the sexual transmission diseases.
Another thing, we try to support women when they are pregnant and alone.

So, what do you think? Are the midwifes necessary in your life?
Well, in my opinion I think that the answer is yes, because we can help to the delivery of the baby and prevent the abortion.
I think that it is important to know a little about everything and thats the reason why i show you a little bit of my course.

hello to everyone!! how are you?, mmm, today i think that i´m going to talk you about the freak people of my university.

First, i want to say that in my unversity are a lot of different kinds of people:
* The people from the dark side, ahahahaha, all their clothes are black, their eyes are with black make up, and they always listen to hard metal.
* The people that believe that money is the most important thing from the world, like posh people, they dress clothes from boutiques or very expensive shops, and their t-shirts say i´m rich and sexy.
* The hippies!, they are people that think that it really doesn´t matter the way that they dress, but also exist the "hippies" that say, well, I´m hippie and i smoke a lot of grass and also I drink like a barrel.

Well, I think that this kind of matters are really cool, because you can dress and speak in the way that you want, and no one is going to tell you what is good or what is wrong. You can think, mmm what is the stereotype that i belong?, there are a lot of people that don´t know where they belong, and the funny thing of this is that it is not necessary to be part of a stereotype, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR ONE STYLE!, i love when people don´t follow the fashion and choose clothes or things that only exist once. I think that i´m one of them, I really don´t care about what people say or think about me, why? they are just people like me.
So I hope that each of you can choose your one style, have a nice weekend! and don´t forget to sleep (like Gaby).

Do you know something about nursing?

Hello to everybody!.
This time i want to talk you about my favorite subject, well at firts, i thing that i like all my subjects, because all of them are really important.
I think that i like "Fundamentos de enfermería", because all the teachers are obstetrics, and they teach you things like how to take the pressure, or the temperature. We have theoritical classes and also we have hours to practice what we had learnt.
I remmember that one of the first classes of this subject we had to take the pressure, and i was really nervous and excited, because i never took before the pressure, and i never had heard before the sound of the heart with an stethoscope and it was really beautiful and cool. We learnt to take the sistolic and diastolic pressure. It is very interesting and also important to know about the pressure because you can know if a person has a high or al low pressure, the reasons and the desease that are related with this problem.
In addition to this the teacher can teach you about the requirements and the rules of the semiology, this is the interview or the meeting between the professional of health and the pacient.
It is really important to know about this little details, because if you talk to a patcient with a lot of technical terms he or she will not understand you.
